Seattle
Seattle is the largest city in the state of Washington. It is not the capital; the capital is Olympia. Remember this is Washington state not Washington D.C. Washington became part of U.S. territory after the Oregon treaty (it belonged to Great Britain). It is the only state that is named after a President (George Washington, 1st President). Seattle has an underground abandoned city because flooding was a problem. Washington has 5 active volcanoes, and it is also the major producer of apples, pears, sweet cherries, red raspberries and hops. Seattle has a lot of visitors from Asian countries because of its proximity.

I have prepared a one day guide to help you cover the top attractions. If you wish to make your own, scroll down!
DAY 1
Let’s start our morning at Pike Place, it is a public market in Seattle's waterfront. Here in Pike Place, you can find the first Starbucks Shop. If you would like to visit it, remember to get here early. If you go later in the afternoon, the line could take up to 20-30 min... Not kidding! There is a pastry shop besides the Starbucks at Pike Place that is amazing; you would not miss it because is always full. If you like Art, the SAM (Seattle Museum of Art) is two blocks from here. I will totally recommend this museum. On the way to the SAM, there is a Gum Wall. I know, disgusting! But it is actually pretty interesting. Also the Aquarium is in this area on the Waterfront besides the Seattle Great Wheel.

After having some breakfast or shopping here, walk northwest 16 minutes on Western Ave. You will reach Olympic Sculpture Park. Take a few minutes to walk and take some pictures.

When you finish, walk towards the Space Needle, you cannot miss it! It was built for the 1962 World's fair. You can go up to the observation deck and view the city from the sky. (Check out City Pass to save some money). Once you go down. The next stop is Chihuly Gardens; it is amazing Glass art by Dale Chihuly. This museum is a MUST! (picture below).

Once you are done, you have three option in this same area:

1. Pacific Science Center
Science museum designed by Minoru Yamasaki for the 1962 World's Fair.

2. Museum of Pop Culture

3. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

If you are staying more days remember to check the attractions tab or finished the museum that you could not visit today. if you bought a City Pass, if they have not change it, it includes a boat ride.

Seattle is famous for its coffee shops and seafood. Pacific seafood is very good and fresh; especially Salmon. Seattle has a lot of places that specialize in Asian cuisine, so do not forget to check out a restaurant. Washington is also a major producer of Apples. And last but not least try some rainer cherries. Head out for dinner!

Take a Ferry from Seattle to Victoria, Canada.

A car is not recommended in Seattle, I always take an Uber if is available in the city. Rain is Seattle's second name, so be sure to pack something for the rain. If you are going to Seattle take a train to Portland; just go there for one day which I will think it will be enough. Seattle nightlife closes really early compared to Miami or Las Vegas. You can get a City Pass which will include many of the top attractions for a fair price, including a little cruise. Be sure to eat some apples, most of the apples come from Washington State. There is a pastry shop besides the Starbucks at Pike Place that it is amazing you would not miss it because is always full.

Capitol Hill (Pike St), Lower Queen Anne, Downtown, & Bell Town are good places to have a drink. There are also great places for jazz in Seattle. One of my favorites is Dimitriou's Jazz Alley.

If your plan is going shopping, check out Pacific Place, Westfield Southcenter, and The Shops at the Bravern.
