Freight Insurance

What is it?

Also known as "Cargo" Insurance, it is designed to cover the property of the insured or of a third party that is under his/her custody, against any physical damage covered by the policy occurring during the transportation from the place of origin (beginning of trip) to the destination (end of trip). Either if it is transferred by land, sea or air.

Policy Types:

➢ Specific travel policy:
It is used to secure a single shipment that includes one or more different types of merchandise.
➢ Annual declaration policy
It is offered when the insured sent multiple shipments and is able to declare a real value each month.
➢ Annual policy based on forecast
It is oriented to satisfy the needs of multiple shippings, without declaring them monthly. There is only a single declaration at the end of the term or year.
